Rivers Youth Orchestra Program Opening Concert – November 20 at 5:30 p.m.
The Rivers Youth Orchestra Program, lead by Director Chris Memoli, opens its 2011-2012 Season on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at the Regis College Fine Arts Center in Weston, Massachusetts. The program will include works by Beethoven, Mozart, Shostakovich, and Strauss.
The Rivers Youth Orchestras provide a comprehensive orchestral program that enriches the musical education of talented young musicians from the Greater Boston and MetroWest communities. Committed to high standards of performance, the orchestras providesoutstanding training to musicians of all levels and ages. The 2011-12 season performance schedule includes performances of all the youth orchestras at Regis College Fine Arts Center in Weston and New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall in Boston.
The Regis College Fine Arts Center is located on the Regis College campus at 235 Wellesley Street. Admission is free for students, $10 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
