RSC Welcomes New Faculty and Staff

Sofie Campesino, Assistant Director, Oboe

Most recently Sofie was Assistant Director at The Dana Hall School of Music in Wellesley, MA.  She is a founding member of the wind quintet Vento Chiaro.  Sofie received a master of music in oboe performance from the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor of music in oboe performance from the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. 

 

Erin Lindsey, Piano

Erin Lindsey received a master of music and bachelor of music in piano performance from the North Carolina School of the Arts.

 

Ian Lindsey, Piano

Ian received a master’s and bachelor of arts from New England Conservatory.

 

Dubravka Moshfegh, Violin and Viola

Dubravka (Dubi) received a master’s and bachelor’s degree from the Music Academy, Zagreb University, Zagreb, Croatia.

 

Kaoruko Pilkington, Jazz Voice

Kaoruko received a diploma in vocal performance from Berklee College of Music and a bachelor of arts in drama from Nihon University College of Arts.

 

Ana Popa, Piano

Ana Popa will teach piano in the new Saturday Morning Music Box program at RSC.  She received her master of music in piano performance from Boston University and her bachelor of music in piano performance from New England Conservatory.  She will receive her doctor of musical arts from Boston University in 2011.

 

Margot Reavey, RYO

Margot is conductor of the Preparatory Orchestra of the Rivers Youth Orchestras.  She is currently the district-wide orchestra director of the Belmont Public Schools.  She received her Master of Music Education in Pedagogy from The Hartt School at the University of Hartford and Bachelor of Arts in violin performance and politics from Oberlin College. 

 

Jane Sheena, Cello

Jane Sheena will teach cello in the new Saturday Morning Music Box program at RSC.  She received her performance diploma from the Royal Academy of Music in London, England. 

 

Dina Shulman, Assistant to the Director/Receptionist

Dina received a bachelor of fine arts from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in May 2010 with a degree in architecture and design. 

 

Christopher Veilleux, Saxophones

Chris received a master of music in contemporary improvisation from New England Conservatory and bachelor of music in jazz studies/performance from Northern Illinois University. 

 

Marta Zurad, Violin

She received her master of music in violin performance from Longy School of Music and her bachelor of music in violin performance from New England Conservatory.
