A friendly call to a fellow RSC current parent is the best way to garner support for the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund supports financial aid, programs such as the Annual Seminar on Contemporary Music for the Young, maintenance of our instruments and acquisition of new instruments, upgraded technology for composition and theory classes, as well as rehearsal time with accompanists.
Wassail Event Committee
The Annual Wassail Party
is a fundraising event which takes place every year in early December that supports The Rivers School Conservatory’s Scholarship Fund. The event will include student performances, a buffet dinner, auction, and raffle. Help is needed at all levels, including Auction Acquisitions, Décor, Ticket Sales/Invitation Distribution, Staffing, Set-up, Break-down, Food and beverage, and Performers.
is a student-driven fundraising event benefiting The Rivers School Conservatory Scholarship Fund. Sixteen hour-long recitals are performed continuously at The Natick Collection in Natick, MA in the Spring. Students raise money for their performance, similar to a sport-athon. Volunteers are needed to check students in.
Annual Seminar on Contemporary Music
Now in its 36rd year, the Annual Seminar on Contemporary Music
for the Young is three days of student and faculty performances of music composed in the last 25 years. Volunteers are needed to sell tickets, distribute programs, and coordinate receptions.
Faculty Appreciation Lunch
RSC parents coordinate a banquet style luncheon at the end of the school year for the RSC Faculty.
