Suzuki Guitar Lessons & Optional Group Class (Ages 4 & Up)
Saturdays (limited weekday availability)
These lessons focus on ear training, developing technique, and tone on the instrument before introducing the child to the complexities of note reading. Parental involvement is an essential part of the program. The parent attends all lessons and classes and assists the child in practice sessions.
Music Box Lessons & Group Class (Ages 5-7)
Saturday Mornings and Afternoons
Music Box is a 60-minute program for children who are new students of violin, cello, or piano. Weekly meetings include a 30-minute private lesson and a 30-minute interactive group session with games and activities to keep students engaged and to reinforce the fundamentals of music.
Marimba Magic (Ages 5-10)
Weekdays after 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays
The Marimba Magic program, offered in 30, 45, or 60-minute classes, teaches musicianship to students as they play marimbas and drums in a group. Students make up their own music on marimbas, a skill they can transfer to the piano which has an identical keyboard. Playing in a drum circle further enhances rhythmic precision and improvisational expression.
