RSC Concerto Competition

Each fall Rivers School Conservatory students are invited to participate in the Concerto Competition.  Students are required to play one movement of a concerto of their choice from memory.  All contestants must have their concerto approved by RSO conductor David Tierney and RYO conductor Christopher Memoli, before entering the competition.

Rivers Youth Orchestra students who are also private lesson students at RSC are eligible to win a performance with the RSO or the RYO. Students who are in the Rivers Youth Orchestra but do not take private lessons at RSC are eligible to win a performance with the RYO only.  Students who take private lessons at RSC but do not play in the RYO are eligible to win a performance with the RSO only.
