The Rivers Symphony Orchestra was established in 1996 by David Tierney to promote performance opportunities for talented adult and advanced students in the community.


RSO Goes to the Movies!

Join the Rivers Symphony Orchestra and conductor David Tierney for their second annual “Pops Concert” featuring music from the movies! Including selections from Schindler’s List, Lord of the Rings, Chariots of Fire, Gone with the Wind, The Magnificent Seven, Mission Impossible, … and many more!

$25 tickets include hors d’oeuvres and open bar. Under 21 – free.

Auditions & Openings

The RSO is looking for bassoons, and string players. Interested musicians should make an appointment through RSC to interview/audition with the conductor. The RSO rehearses on Mondays from 7:30-9:30 p.m. during the academic year.
