The Rivers Symphony Orchestra was established in 1996 by David Tierney to promote performance opportunities for talented adult and advanced students in the community. Currently in its 20th season, the orchestra performs three concerts each season, in New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall as well as venues throughout MetroWest.

This concert features the winners from the Rivers Symphony Concerto Competition and a world premiere by Berklee Faculty and composer Francine Trester.
The RSO rehearses on Mondays from 7:30-9:30 p.m. during the academic year. All rehearsals are at The Rivers School Conservatory.

The RSO is looking for bassoons, and string players. Interested musicians should make an appointment through RSC to interview/audition with the conductor.
